Phones mostly uses LCDs for screen but some high end devices have now started to use AMOLEDs and OLED displays. This technology gives you better quality but they also come at a premium.

Not all phones have keypads. Smartphones are dumping this to have a bigger screen. Some smartphones have a slide out QWERTY keyboards. If the phone has a slider interface we look for smooth movement at the joints. The keyboards must be spacey and should give good typing experience. The buttons should also be elevated above the surface which makes typing easier.

Music player is very important in a cell phone. People look for good music player in a phone because they don't want to carry a separate PMP.
